It's usually white people that are screwing them over in some way, not blacks , hispanics, etc. Racism is a lie. The 18 year old that just killed people in Buffalo, I bet a black person has never hurt him in any way. If anyone has hurt him in anyway, it was most likely a white person.
I have figured out what the Republican Party platform is.
When talking to their voters, Point and yell BOO! They know that's all they have to do in order to own their voters. Sad but true.
Are most Americans in denial or somehow disconnected from what happened on Jan 6th?
Most Americans are angry about inflation and the end of Roe, rightly so. When it comes to Jan 6th, I don't see the same kind of anger from most Americans. It's bizarre.
Trump and his merry band of traitors attempted to destroy our election process, our constitution, our democracy and many of our rights.
You would think most Americans would be as angry or more angry about Jan 6th than they are about inflation and Roe.
Hopefully the open hearings will wake people up from their deep denial, disconnect.
By the way, Fuck Trump.
Banning abortion will work like banning booze did. Very badly.
It won't stop it. It will create a black market. It will lead to corruption and deaths. It will create very bad laws that will cost the taxpayers a lot of money to enforce. Innocent people will be arrested. We are surrounded by idiots, the same kind of idiots who believed banning booze would solve all their social problems.
What our country needs is a large dose of Good Trouble.
I have been Good Trouble my entire life. It's something I am very proud of. I was happy to hear Biden likes Good Trouble.
Good Trouble is when you do the right thing no matter the risk, consequences, no matter how terrified you are, you plow through the fear and do the right thing.
What we need, our country needs is a lot of Good Trouble from our justice system. No matter the risk, no matter the consequences, all of the traitors, no matter who they are must face justice.
For many years all we have been dealing with is bad trouble, it's time for some Good Trouble.
Hopefully, we will soon see the end of the Garland will do nothing, nothing will happen, syndrome.
If people cannot see Garland is investigating the attempted coup, classified documents, the fake electors, they are not paying attention. Many grand juries have been put in place and people are being subpoenaed.
I expect the open hearings will make it much easier for the DOJ to do their job. That's what happened after the Watergate hearings. The committee has an incredible amount of evidence. That evidence will be shared with the DOJ and they will act upon it. The open hearings will educate the people, that is very important.
I don't know if Garland, a grand jury, will attempt to indict Trump. I have no doubt the people around Trump are in big trouble. The evidence is overwhelming and many of them are going to be indicted. People who refuse to answer subpoenas are guilty. People who refuse to cooperate are guilty. Many people involved in crimes are making deals, they are spilling their guts. They are turning on each other.
Grand juries don't play politics, they indict when the evidence is overwhelming. Hopefully, after the open hearings and the people are educated, Garland will make his intentions much more clear and we can end the Garland will do nothing syndrome.
My melanoma nightmare update: Some good news and some possible bad news.
My pet scan and brain scan came back normal. The melanoma has not spread. Unfortunately the pet scan showed something on my prostate which could be cancer. Now I need a scan and testing for that. When it rains it pours. I have a prostate exam every year so if it is cancer I most likely have caught it early. Unlike melanoma, prostate cancer is slow growing.
Until recently there was no treatment for my type of melanoma besides cutting out the melanoma. I am at high risk of it returning. All you could do was get scanned every three months for the rest of your life to see if it returned and hope it did not return in one of your organs.
Last year the FDA approved a treatment called Keytruda which my doctor is calling a game changer. It treats cancer that could not be treated in the past with good results. It is also showing good results in stopping cancers like mine from returning. The treatment come with risks, side effects. It's a year long treatment. I have decided to get the treatment. I could have turned it down and hoped the melanoma never returned which is possible. It was a tricky decision. If I have bad side effects I can always stop treatment.
I also learned, during the surgery on my cheek there was a 5cm in diameter tissue rearrangement and then they pulled my cheek flap over the incision and sewed me up. Brutal! The scar is healing well, swelling is going down. Still have no feeling in my cheek. It will take months to get back to normal. It still amazes me my melanoma, as bad as it was, never showed itself on the top layers of skin.
After the open hearings are completed there is a very good chance this will happen.
Some people in Trumps inner circle are going to realize they are in great legal jeopardy. The committee has the evidence, they are going to prove people are guilty. Some people, I have been saying Meadows from the beginning, are going to make a deal to save themselves.
Things are going to snow ball, this is usually what happens.
There is going to be more than enough evidence to indict people in Trumps inner circle. We just need Garland to do it and I think he will.
The Jan 6th committee: They have documents, text messages, and hundreds of hours of videotapes.
The committee recorded the depositions from hundreds of people, many who told all they know. We will most likely see many of these videotapes during the open hearings. The open hearings are going to be devastating for all those involved in the attempted coup.
The open hearings will dominate the news cycle and many Americans are going to be shocked by what they see and learn. All of us are going to learn things that have not been reported yet.
I am going to shock many of you with what I am about to say.
I am starting to believe indicting, convicting all those around Trump will be enough. Indicting Trump would make me very happy, but is that piece of shit worth it?
When I say indicting all those around Trump, I am talking about scores of people. Meadows, Flynn, Stone ,Bannon, Powell, Rudy, Boris, other Trump lawyers who's names I cannot remember, Whitehouse staff, dozens of fake electors, all those at the Willard hotel. These trials will be one of the largest investigations in our history. Trumps name will be front and center in all the trials.
After all these trials Garland will have to decide whether to indict Trump. I had to admit to myself putting an ex-president on trial by an AG appointed by a Democrat will cause serious problems. A Trump trial would drag on for years and be a freak show. He would tear this country apart with all his lying.
Nixon was a ruined man after all those around him were convicted. The same thing will happen to Trump. Trump is a freak show that is going to end badly whether he is indicted or not.
I have no problem with the investigation in Georgia. If the AG in Georgia indicts Trump for election fraud that would be great. That is a state charge. That is a smoking gun case.
If Garland does decide to indict Trump no one will be more happy than I. I will celebrate. I simply am starting to believe that piece of shit is not worth it. Indicting all those around him will be enough.
