Politics. It is a global economic force, for the good and the bad. It influences politics. If you get outside America, from Central to Latin America, to Europe, to Africa, you will begin to understand it as a power and influence, beyond what we usually accord any sport, but rather accept as a passion and an art. NBC is committed to showing these games on several channels.

I had to, as the daughter of a line of coaches in American sports, with a soccer maniac fiancé from Ireland, do my research.
