19. It's not the point. We must change McConnell's behavior by putting him out of office.

It can be done. We have allowed the media and the pols to brainwash us into believing that we shouldn't waste our time, effort, and money in trying to unseat some of these gerrymandered devils at the polls. I don't buy it. Of course, if we don't run a viable candidates and challenge every gerrymandered seat we won't win. But we may be pleasantly surprised if we run challengers on BOTH sides to challenge folks like McConnell. One candidate to divide the voters on their side and weaken McConnell, and one candidate on our side to unify the disenfranchised vote and give us a win.

Here are two things that work in our favor: (1) a lot of even GOPers are now seeing the light. They may never vote for a DEM but they might stay home or vote for another GOP candidate. (2) there is a sort of diaspora among GOP voters because of climate change and the horrific weather patterns that have caused so much damage to life styles and living conditions across a wide and deep red-belt. Many have dispersed among us in the blue states but there votes won't count as much in most areas. These are the mostly rich who could afford to move and the poorer folks who were forced to move but who will take more than 18 months to establish permanent residence anywhere in a blue state. There is enough dissatisfaction among the displaced that it will make a difference in voting in 2020 no matter what the polls are telling you now. I know some folks who were die-hard Trumpsters who will not be voting for him or any GOPer in 2020 but they will not tell anyone, including a pollster this. They are embarrassed and angry people but many are now pretty desperate for a stable life situation. I know four families who fit into this category and if I know four families, there must be many more out there. KEEP HOPE ALIVE! YES WE CAN!
