1. Mississippi has a weird law that's kind of like an electoral college.

It makes it harder for Democrats to win. Jim Hood (the Democratic candidate) has been the Attorney General since 2004 and has never lost a statewide election, so there is hope.

Although Hood has been polling well, within a few points of his opponent, I fear he will come up short.
