(13,783 posts)... fodder to the fake "fake news" meme. I say the Title was misleading because it left out the crucial beginning of the sentence:
"We don't actually know what the magnitude of the virus is going to be, although frankly, so far, it looks relatively contained," Kudlow told CNBC on Friday.
"Kudlow also said "America should stay at work," arguing that the private sector is "going to solve this disease"
It's easy to read this as if Kudrow were saying Americans should go to work even if companies or local health authorities advised against it. I don't think that's what he meant, given the rest of the quote. I think that would qualify as "panic," not "preparedness.
Let's not stoke the fires of division. It reduces credibility when we do have a horror story to report.
