The liability thing is just Trump and the GOP being assholes to labor and possibly the consumer. Liability exists to keep producers honest. If an employee fails to follow established protocols, then the liability lies with the employee. If the employer is negligent then the liability is theirs. That is how business is supposed to work. Trump doing anything to decrease the liability of the producers is just going to be a further slap in the face to labor and more danger to consumers.

If President Obama were doing this 1. There wouldn't be any "liability" discussion, though I am sure the Federal government would be assisting producers with gear and solid guidelines.

The problem is the Trump is stupid and corrupt. What he sees are more problems for his re-election, that is all. He is going to do this in a way that takes responsibility away from himself and the big businesses and shifts the burden onto the workers and the consumer. That is just what he does and why I say that while this is probably necessary, he is going to fuck it up and it is going to be another disaster.

I have had more and less trust in government over the years. There have been times, even when either Party has been in power where I have not fully trusted government. With this idiot in charge of the administration and one chamber of Congress led by McConnell, the other worst person on the planet, I have NO trust in the Federal Government at all.
