16. I recall a coworker asking what I was eating at lunchtime while at work many years ago. When I told

her "venison", she reacted with disgust. "How can you eat that?" she asked.

Curious about her reaction, I asked if she was a vegetarian. She wasn't. She simply found the idea of eating "wild" meat instead of "tame" meat revolting, and not because of any objection to hunting. She just thought that meat which wasn't from a farm was "gross".
