13. Thx. Was aware of the press conference scheduled but OP provided no clues of connection. Too many

There are just too many threads to read all of DU threads and posts. I was well aware of Giuliani's impending press conference (even posted a reply in a thread to alert a poster about it coming up) and that there was some mixup about a landscaping company, but nothing I read or saw mentioned the businesses the OP highlighted.

Plus I don't have a TV. Does that make me bad?

I don't follow tweets, I follow DU links to tweets. Is that incorrect behaviour? I saw the Hoarse Whisperer thread early in the thread but the context there was tRump's Non-Existent Health Care Plan. I had no idea that later you had buried posts about the press conference in that thread.

I'm clued in, but not glued in to TV, twitter, or even DU. I read DU a lot, but nobody can be expected to read it comprehensively.

There are too many threads, partly because of context-free OPs and click bait titles and obscure "This" threads. A little pushback is healthy.

It's seems so simple to offer a little context in an OP. The attention grabbing thread title is fine and good practice. But what was so difficult about mentioning "Giuliani press conference" in the OP? A little thought and care for DU readers goes a long way.

Yet another context free vanity post. Perhaps would be more suited for Lounge, the way it sits. nt Bernardo de La Paz Nov 2020 #1
Harsh much? Here. Providing context. CurtEastPoint Nov 2020 #2
Harsh? If the OP wants discussion, they'll provide context. Bernardo de La Paz Nov 2020 #5
Good God. Not much 'La Paz' here, is there? And you are welcome. CurtEastPoint Nov 2020 #7
Providing context, as you did, is the peaceful way. I'm clued in, not glued in to TV. . . . nt Bernardo de La Paz Nov 2020 #10

My post was about 20 words long and was meant to be light hearted and fun. Sorry it offended you. Raven Nov 2020 #16
That's why I'm here: the title was certainly light-hearted & attracted me because of that. Bernardo de La Paz Nov 2020 #18
