Lieberman irritated me beyond belief and I would mute my television when he is on and, truth be told, I do that to Manchin sometimes as well. I have a problem, however, using "phony Democrat" to describe either. Lieberman did and Manchin does support key Democratic bills in the Senate and that, to me, is more important than putting labels on them.
