The site in Michigan began making it as soon as it was authorized.
The plant near Boston was supposed to start up the week between Christmas & New Year.
They made a public statement to that timeline & if they hadn't hit the go button, I think it would be news.
I think that's why they went from 500,000 doses a day to 1.12 million in a matter of days.
I understand the plant in Belgium is their biggest worldwide, but I don't remember seeing their daily throughput capacity.
If Pfizer is at 1.1+ million, they're not yet half way toward full throughput. (A learning curve of several weeks should not be concerning). Back in October they forecasted 2.5 million doses a day when fully ramped up in the US, not counting authorized toll manufacturers.
