In reply to the discussion: Well, screw Kellogg - No more corn flakes for me [View all]GoCubsGo
(32,150 posts)38. It's actually quite easy to not eat/buy anything from Kellogg's.
They mostly sell processed breakfast foods, like cold cereals, Pop Tarts, and frozen waffles, along with a couple of brands of cookies, crackers and fake meats. For various reasons, a lot of folks don't eat cold cereal for breakfast, myself included. Most of that stuff spikes my blood sugar, and leaves me hungry again 20 minutes after eating it. As far as meat substitutes go, there are more and more better options than Morningstar Farms soy products coming onto the market every day.

I call bullshit that you eat/buy nothing from a company Kellogg's owns.

You do realize that they own a number of subsidiaries not operated under the Kelloggs name?

I think you have no evidence to attack DU member. Many people buy little/no processed food, like me

The store-brand corn flakes aren't half bad. We like those. I wonder who makes them.

Like hell they are, off-brand Cheez-Its are very noticeably worse, even to a smoker.
