"Shifting" is almost entirely a way for them to claim credit for what we do, and of course for their partisans and hostile media to puff them up in order to tear us down.

I know what her camp would campaign on in general because it happens every time -- whatever they chose, everything being possible because corrupt corporatists always betray the people, and/or are too callously uncaring to do enough. They need to draw mainstream voters, so they'd claim mainstream values while insisting all the mainstream liberal politicians must be purged (insert reasons from unlimited betrayals here). At the same time social media attack dogs will be running a vicious background campaign, saying things a Democratic candidate of course would never dream of. I could safely bet our retirement savings on those.

Oh, well. If she were to run as a Democrat in the primary, as opposed to third party, that'd necessarily limit her range while it lasted. No "bowl of shit" talk while she ran for congress as a Democrat this last time; that was from before.
