3. The House is iffier than the Senate

House districts are small enough that they can be much more cray-cray, which is how people like Boebert and Margy 3-names get elected. But a big takeaway is that traditional tools like the midterm rule of thumb and the generic ballot aren't worth the water you use to piss on them any more. Even those of us who somewhat expected Roe to fall one day didn't expect it this soon or with this much gleeful contempt for those who object. If even in Kansas 20% of Republican voters voted no on the issue, it's a solid loser for any Republican who dares touch it with an 11 foot pole.
