9. I'll tell you what really bothers me about people like her...

From what I’ve been made to understand, she was a “Obama Democrat“ before. This means that she has absolutely no core belief other than in her self. Because she’s quite frankly, an attractive candidate, if she had just been a little less insane she probably would have won the election. It amazes me that considering the importance of the seat to the Republicans, that some grandmaster of political science consulting wasn’t brought in to tell her not to insult McCain supporters among other nutso things which she said.

Contrast that with the meticulously run Josh Shapiro campaign in Pennsylvania, which was so incredibly disciplined that he did not make a single tactical mistake. As far as I could see, and the fact that an elected governor in Pennsylvania is an observant Jew is fairly remarkable. And yes I know: Ed Rendell and Milton Shapp were as well and of course Senator Arlen Specter, but they made certain that their religion was never mentioned publicly.
