not attempted infanticide. Why are people still harboring second millennium BCE attitudes on crime and punishment. Ooh, we must stone her for her negligence! I think we, as humans and society, have moved beyond that.

Anders Breivik, the Norwegian white supremacist who killed the most people, using a gun and a bomb (69 and 8 people killed, respectively) in all of mass-shooting history (outside of a military action, I suppose), is locked up for just 21 years in prison. And is treated rather humanely while there.

You think this mother's action is much worse than Breivik's?
