There's also the problem that few have the imagination to visualize just how drastically we're changing our planet. We watch sci-fi shows with NYC flooded, a southwest without any water, but we don't think it can really happen in our lifetimes. If I lived in the southwest I'd move now. The migration this planet is about to experience is going to be epic. There won't be one place that's not affected. You'll either be leaving a place or living in a place where people are migrating. Anti-immigrations laws won't stop the flood of humanity. It's looking like Mad Max, not Star Trek, for the human race.
