(33,424 posts)84. Look, I am not a state basher.
There are wonderful aspects to all 50 states I'm sure. I have been in 48 of them and lived for an extended time in four of them (OR, AL, IL and AZ). I try and keep politics out of it because which party is in power in a state doesn't have much affect on people as far as their daily situation. When I lived in the South I found the people much friendlier than in other parts of the country. When I have visited the NE I have found the people not too friendly at all. Maybe just me?
