In reply to the discussion: Commander Biden bites another Secret Service agent, the 11th known incident [View all]hunter
(38,471 posts)47. All our dogs have been shelter dogs of the most difficult sort.
Don't know why, but those are the sorts of dogs my wife is most attracted to. Which possibly explains our marriage.
I grew up with many difficult dogs so I've got six decades of experience.
I'm always very cautious introducing our dogs to people who are not comfortable with dogs, and I never let them anywhere near people they could possibly perceive as a threat to their family/pack.
I'm very much a dog person, our dogs are allowed to sleep with us on the bed, but I don't think anyone should be allowing dogs (or cats) to breed. Spay and neuter them all.
There are too many dogs, cats, and humans on this planet. The humans are especially dangerous.

Here's the earlier thread at DU about that dog. It was only ten bites at that time.

He bit a security technician when they were all at home in Delaware awhile back.

Dogs kill dozens of kids a year. The victim blaming is just gross and not funny.

It's clear he's simply too much dog for that environment. He's certainly being set up to fail.

I have often thought that dogs were a better judge of people than other people. ;)

This is disgraceful. If it was anyone else's dog, it would have been put down
