The short answer is, no. But you wouldnt believe that from listening to Taylor Swift detractors or reading the comment threads on Swift articles. Quick to discount the young songstress, this is the first accusation you will see of why Taylor Swifts success is a sham."

From your own link, in fact, right before your cherry picked quote:
"In Nashville, Taylor started working with songwriter Liz Rose during two-hour writing sessions every Tuesday afternoon after school. Later, she became the youngest artist signed by Sony/ATV publishing house, but left the group at age 14."
Imagine that...her dad bought THREE percent of a fledgling company his 14 year old daughter was working with, after having been previously signed with Sony/ATV. The horror!
Her birthday is a week from today, and she will be 34 years old. And she's a billionaire. At 33! That is NOT the result of Daddy's three percent.
I don't know much of her music, but this comment diminishing an obviously talented, gorgeous, successful young woman who mobilized her millions of fans to vote is unnecessary, unkind, and untrue.
PS. Thanks for that link. I've learned a lot about Ms. Swift and her pics are lovely.
