job last month.
I won't buy a new car until some sanity returns to the market. I think, that after the dealer offering a price for my trade, that I would suggest that we add a $5,000.00 market premium to the price because used cars are up too.

I remember in the 70s car dealers tried to get you to buy the undercoating. Supposedly to keep the car from rusting

Yep. Many cars have 6 months to over a year of back inventory. Dealers are trying to fleece as much as possible.
