6. I often wonder how many people that vote republican understand what they are voting for and

that the Eisenhower republican party is long gone, replaced by maga republicans and others. I was reading recently and I don't have the link now, that a fair number of potential republican voters did not know about Trump and his dictator statements. I look at the people around me and I seriously question how many have any idea WTF is going on. Your post was right to the point!
