unlike their stated purpose of campaign director. Manafort knows all the oligarchs who could funnel the money to dump.

Thing is, though, he was supposed to go to prison for hiding a foreign bank account before (as well as other counts of bank fraud, mortgage fraud, etc.) and dump pardoned him. This time with Biden in office, he won't be looking at a pardon. However, it will be interesting to watch how they try to funnel the money to him. This is the key to putin winning the war in Ukraine, so you gotta' know it's a possibility, a strong one. The question is how they will do it to avoid prison.
