(60,686 posts)Now I have never heard of this guy before, but thats a phrase I have heard before.
In 1982, I was invited by the Cuban government to go down there to visit with them for a couple of days. The Bay of Pigs was over 20 years past, and there was occasional cooperation on matters of mutual interest. It was a rare such matter, and I had nothing to do with the current U.S. (Reagan) government at all. They sent word to their Cuban Interests Section of the Czechoslovak Embassy in Washington, and I had to go down there to get their visa stamped into my passport.
While I was waiting for them to do the paperwork, some guy came in demanding a visa to visit Cuba, shouting, Yo soy revolucionario! Im a revolutionary! The Cuban staff rolled their eyes, shook their heads, and said with their facial expressions, another one. I left the building with my Cuban visa stamped in my passport. El revolucionario did not (he left before I did, at their encouraging).
