Notice that the media knows it's a prank or it would be a big deal elsewhere than just social media.
Multiple outlets have reported on it.

The democratic leadership knows as well or they would be screaming about it and calling for removal for being a confirmed flag flying Nazi.
People in Congress generally tread carefully when investigations are going on, as is the case now. It's a club, and we ain't in it.

If you look at the pic as posted instead of the doctored one that uses a black outline to make it easier to see, it's obvious something is amiss.
I haven't seen the one with a black outline, only the pic as posted.
