. . . who filed an amicus curie brief arguing that the Plaintiff's claims in a sexual abuse case against a diocese should have been barred by the time-for-filing limitation of the statute which was in effect at the time the abuse occurred. I think the court ruled the claimant was permitted to continue with his case. Sadly, the claimant ended his life not long thereafter. He had substance abuse problems which he attributed to the abuse he had suffered.
