12. the deal

I don't know about everyone else, but for the most part I'm satisfied with the deal. At this point I am kind of shocked republicans caved this quick on taxes, it may not have been the original 250K, but the fact that not that long ago the GOP wouldn't even vote to raise taxes on people making 1 million or more seems pretty good. Again, I figured the GOP wouldn't cave yet at least until we went over the cliff, the damage began, and there was no more time to continue to kick the can down the road. The fight over spending cuts will begin in 2 months, which will be interesting to watch, at least some of the bad seeds will be out of our senate and congress by then.
