(8,554 posts)finally decide that it's time to recognize and "prosecute" that massive machine whose only intent is bent on global imperialism? I could go back for more than a century and point fingers at various individual leaders over the years, of Great Britain (and of the USA), saying that they lied, they actually knew exactly what their purposes were for interfering in Iraq, in the Middle East, proclaiming over a hundred years of heinous war crimes perpetrated against those people unfortunate enough to be born in an area that the West seeks to control.
All I can say is that we've waited ten long years for accountability. During the next ten years, I imagine that we'll begin seeing a few of these running dogs point some fingers of their own, shifting and shuffling the blame around to further confuse the issue, but conveniently postponing any revelations of truth til all of the major players are dead. Officially, there are about ten people that I wouldn't mind seeing hung for plotting the Invasion that they carried out ten years ago today and I don't even believe in the death penalty, but realistically, I don't have much hope of ever seeing those bastards answering for their crimes.
Thanks for the link to that piece, autorank. It's nice to see ya here!
