Ed's wife was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment (surely?). Ed wanted to stay on MSNBC but, close to home during the treatments, right? So he works weekends and the plan all along was for him to return and replace one of Chris' shows. Works for me. If they could replace Rev Al (stop yelling) and Tweety with less spittle, I might watch during those hours. It's hard on Mtn time to watch any of the prime time stuff except with the EST repeats. I don't even miss Rachel's show anymore. I just haven't watched and don't have cable anyway. We watch most tv on-line.
