129. For more than a decade, NNNOLHI has kept me informed,

has shared thoughtful viewpoints, and has enriched my experience in the DU community.

I am deeply saddened by his passing. I will miss his postings, greatly.

But at the same time - I would like to pass on to you that I am very deeply appreciative of your father, and his contributions here at DU. When we were a small and fledgling community, he played a great role in bringing news to our LBN - making it a great place to find legitimate news from across the country (and world); when we were a more solid community, he got conversations going that led to reflection and deeper conversations. This is a member driven community, and your father helped build it and has been an essential part of this on-line community.

In this deeply difficult personal time, I thank you for taking the time to let us know of your father's passing.
