It will certainly be the breaking point for the GOP. Young people are not impressed with Reaganism or Clintonism. I'm seeing polls here that show that even the elderly are finally realizing that the Republicans are not their friends.

If the Democratic contingent in Congress doesn't block this, it may be their downfall as well. I would expect some Blue Dog Democrats to lose their seats in 2014 anyway.
