You should know I voted for President Obama in 2008. I convinced my mother to vote for candidate Obama during the primaries even though I suspected this was my mother's best chance to vote for a viable female candidate. I also took my son to an Obama rally where went three hours early to get good seats. My son was fourteen at the time. I also told my daughter how lucky she was that her first presidential vote would be historic.

Now, fast forward to 2012. President Obama still received my daughter's vote and my son was ecstatic that his first vote would be for an historic President.

I, on the other hand, think actions count. So I looked at what the President did, not at what he said. And I found him wanting.

Do I think President Obama is worse than President Bush? I'll answer it like this. Like President Ford, President Obama let a criminal go unpunished. His failure to prosecute for war crimes, and to continue the Unitary Executive, and the perpetual war through false fear of faux terrorists has resulted in the codification of the aberration that was President Bush.

We may never recover. For that reason only I find President Obama worse than President Bush just as I found President Ford worse than President Nixon.
