2. Reminds me of a complaint from a friend who grew up in Singapore.

Her mother was Chinese, her father was British and although she was Asian in appearance she very much had the body of a western woman. She said she just couldn't find much of anything that fit her and a mother-daughter shopping trip to Australia was a ritual every summer.
