(18,186 posts)all these NYPD goons wailing and gnashing over the loss of human life.
Sorry, NYPD, but you are some of the ones who MADE HUMAN LIFE WORTHLESS. You coppers keep telling us people's lives don't matter, death by cops doesn't matter.
If cops, DAs, legislators and politicians keep selling the idea that life has no value, they can't get all teary eyed and weepy when that attitude becomes prevalent.
THEY CAUSED IT.
Read about Wounded Knee, how US soldiers just gunned down Lakota women and children like animals. Cops today in NYC treat blacks and other minorities the same way. Even if these two cops were minorities, they represent that oppression, that failure to regard all human life as having value.
Stop telling me that only cops' lives count and that the whole fucking city is just in shock. FUCK YOU NYPD. Every time an NYPD cop kills another human senselessly, the community should be in shock.
If cops expect to just blatantly kill, they can't be so goddamned clueless that they don't realize the backlash against them from unstable, angry people is going to come. It's going to arrive and they caused it.
I am sad for the families of the officers, but not as much as I am for Tamir Rice who never got to live his life, Mike Brown who was left on the street for hours after being murdered, Garner and all the other people murdered by cops.
Edit to add: I am NOT condoning killing ANYONE, cop or otherwise. I am disgusted that we can't just agree that all lives matter. I am disgusted that some cops put themselves on such a high pedestal even when they know that we know that their violence, corruption and coverups have hurt so many Americans. But no one should murder anyone the way those cops were murdered.
