40. We had an alcoholic PTSD neighbor who would stand in his backyard with his bath robe open.

He'd just stand there. When he had to pee, he'd just pee.

I could see over the fence, but our kids were small and they couldn't.

I don't think they'd have been too alarmed if they could.

They already knew our neighbor was an odd, eccentric, person, and so far as I know, he was harmless.

I talked to him a few times and he was really sad. Not only was he a Vietnam vet, his oldest son had been killed in a drug deal that went bad.
