The staggering stupidity of that statement is mind-boggling. Easier access to contraception has been proven beyond the remotest shadow of a doubt to greatly reduce unwanted pregnancies - DUH! - which, even by the twisted logic that governs what passes for thought in the fevered brains of conservatives, means that abortions are likewise reduced.

But Sensenbrenner, like every conservative, embraces Ayn Rand's malevolent hatred of altruism in ANY form, and an organization that exists to help people is anathema to scum like Sensenbrenner. Lying, cheating, and fabricating "evidence" is perfectly justifiable if it serves the Republican Party's only real purpose: Obstructing anything and everything proposed by Democrats, and destroying any organization that Democrats support.

These swine are incapable of governing responsibly, so they are reduced to creating a cacophony of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
