Some outrage and then nothing will be done about it.
News readers will speak of 'bloodless' changes of power, as they are wont to do, in an effort to emphasis how great America is and how wonderful our system of choosing elected leaders is - as opposed to those countries that suffer coups every now and then.
As for your predictions, I dunno. I make none. I just know it'll be bad. Very bad.
