(10,484 posts)I could not be more opposed the Pissolini if I tried. However, I'm going to have to agree with you.
I admit, my first reaction was to cheer for Leach. I balk at using the pResident's name and cannot even think of nasty enough names to call him. I always get a kick out of the epithets DUers come up with for him. But, one of the things I despise most about him is his immature, undignified, vulgar, brutish behavior.
I just don't think acting that way is appropriate for any elected official when speaking in an official capacity. And for the entire time anyone's president of the USA, any public statement falls into that category. Similarly for the others, but higher standards for higher office in that regard.
I want everyone who can to fight like hell with everything they've got, but without giving the other side ammunition when you can avoid it. And without helping our political arena turn into the WWF.
I really hesitated to post this, but surely I don't have to fear expressing dissent among fellow Drumpf haters.
