I like Randr's way of putting it even better.

Obviously Alabama Democrats should take a big one on this and against conservative Alabamans' peculiar penchant for electing people so intensely corrupt and unfit that they even outdo most other Republican states.

I of course couldn't guess how much the DSCC could afford to take away from other races for this long shot. But the Democratic candidate is a good man with a good platform and the Republican "flagrantly unfit for office." I'd really like to see us shine a big national spotlight on this example of the enormous differences between the two parties.
