(7,318 posts)So when did Sanders not communicate with the DNC?
In October, when Bernie 2016 notified the DNC of Van's initial data breach?
Or perhaps when his campaign took the initiative and notified the DNC of this week's latest security breach by Van's?
Or perhaps when the DNC entirely ignored Sander's campaign manager, Jeff Weaver's communications, forcing the campaign to file the lawsuit in the first place?
Fail: A breach of contract is not a Tort. Torts are cases that involve a duty of obligation, arising out of law, to protect others from harm. Breaches of Contract, such as this case, involve an obligation that arises from promises parties make to one another.
The DNC clearly broke their contractual obligation (read the suit yourself).
Not a shame at all. We want our candidates to be strong candidates who use all available resources to protect themselves, their volunteers and the Democratic Party itself. Sander's lawsuit did all of that and more. Hence the DNC's decision, really the only reasonable outcome available to them.
Go BERNIE!
