In reply to the discussion: 'They had no qualms violating my rights': OH mom says gun militia demanded $10 to walk through mall [View all]csziggy
(34,189 posts)One of the local theaters is in one of the malls here. Sometimes when the movie is over we walk through the mall on the way out, other times we take the exit from the theater directly to the parking lot. Once the theater let out after all the shops had closed and mall security was obvious and indicating to people which way they should go to leave.
There should have been provision made by the mall managers for people attending the theater to get out without being expected to pay a fee for an event they were not attending. But I expect since that mall is listed among the dead/failing malls management puts as little time and expense into it as possible.
On a brighter note, this incident happened in Bowling Green, Ohio. No wonder the preppers feel such need for weapons and freeze dried food, considering the Bowling Green Massacre.
