Jeopardy! is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning

Jeopardy was by far my favorite game show. Like so many folks I watched Jeopardy since it debuted in 1984. Alex made America smarter and better. This link from Vanity Fair goes into more detail:

We keep hearing about the problems with our education system in the United States, how we do not measure up to kids in other lands. Well, we can overcome that very quickly in all subjects if the children are encouraged to use their imaginations and their sense of curiosity and probe into different areas.”
