49. Look, we need three things, They should NOT be combined

- a stimulus
- a defense bill
-funding the continuing operations of the government

OF COURSE we need to do the latter two, but the third should be conducted with careful and public deliberation, maybe extend things for a few days or weeks to give EVERYBODY time to look at what is needed (paying federal employees and contractors) and what is pork or otherwise unnecessary in dire times (new museums, aid to Venezuela or Israel).

Get mad at whatever fucking idiot(s) are cramming all three together. We can't, and shouldn't do it all as one package. Infrastructure will wait a few weeks, getting help to the unemployed can't.

So kindly bitch at whatever moron decided that the Covid relief, the defense appropriations, and the funds for the continuity of government had to be voted on together.
