88. The Court of Public Opinion

Dictatorships always lose in the court of public opinion because they don’t have a public opinion—their people are silent. So they have no real experience in pleasing the public, only pleasing the dictator and high party leader’s whims.

Now there’s an unknown object flying across the U.S. so Biden lets it drift off the Atlantic coast and orders the military to shoot it down.

So you get your keep the data from the flyover, China, but you don’t get your balloon back. We play for keeps in matters like these. Complain to the media, they’d love to hear your whine to make a gigantic country seem small.

What I sense upcoming for China is a 1989 style fall of the Berlin Wall soviet-era implosion. Their economy is built on the Trump-style method of business, and we all know ETTD.
