That their crocks in frocks have brainwashed them since birth that faith is superior to reason, and that if facts contradict what they believe, then to spurn the facts and double-down on the belief.

Not a surprise, then, that they are constantly falling for every kind of scam imaginable.

One of these idiots even whined to me at work, "Why don't you ever have this happen to you? I'm a good person who goes to church, you're not, but I'm the one they try to rob."

"I know this will shock you, but I'm a good person--probably a better one than you, at that. And I don't get conned because I haven't had a preacher telling me all of my life to turn off my brain and just believe whatever I'm told. You have, and you'll keep getting ripped off, as long as you keep thinking faith is better than reality. Deal with your choices, rather than annoying everyone with your whining about it, when you won't do what it takes to stop it."
