It's a fail all around. Kerry was vulnerable to the lies about his service because he had protested against the Vietnam War after serving. Also, at that time the Republicans rolled out a whole strategy, complete with supposed witnesses, books, a film.

This is a different time, different war, different candidates. To accuse a veteran of stolen valor because he retired after 24 years is ridiculous, comes off as hysterical.

Team Trump are amateurs and it shows. Vance wasn't ready for prime time.
