He seems to be at a loss for words a good bit of the time.
That concerns me because, whatever else I may think of him, I don't believe he's stupid or inarticulate. It seems like he hasn't really integrated, or owned, the position he's trying to present to the public, if that makes any sense. It appears he's trying to put the best face on things. Thus the comment of another poster on this thread that he seems almost like he's drugged, figuatively speaking.
I put this over against what I've read from numerous sources about his and his mother's possible association with the CIA from way, way back. It's relevant to this discussion because you'd think he'd be on-board with what the intelligence agencies are doing. I can't figure it out.
Regarding the previous paragraph, and before the loyalists show up to flame me and accuse me of taking my orders every morning from Alex Jones, I need to say that the CIA connection is something that's been out there for a long time, but I most recently read it in William Blum's new book "America's Deadliest Export: Democracy" (pp. 292-94, including documentation). I consider Wm. Blum to be a credible source.
But I digress...I do think it's alarming how Pres. Obama's position has changed. I would call it devolved.
