Depending on the craft, Ravelry and Instagram are full of craft-alongs that might interest you.

If you’re into yarn crafts and Harry Potter, you can participate in a very friendly competition on Ravelry for the House Cup. There are classes with assignments (“craft something that’s either red or shaped like a triangle,” for instance), and you can participate with as little as a tiny blanket square each month.

Quilters tend to hang out on Instagram, and there are all sorts of quilt-alongs happening there.

I’ve found it helpful to work on projects along with other people, either online or in person. It might be worth a try, if only start something new and exciting.
