38. I was not all that surprised when President Obama

appointed her SOS. Real Democrats get over their differences and work together for the good of the country. Both of them ended up doing jobs that suited them well.

People like Teddy Kennedy knew how to work with republicans, too. There are some Democrats who know still that politics is the art of compromise.

The current crop of republicans only know how to shut things down and make a lot of noise. I think it is good that their party is imploding. Maybe they will elect a new, young crop of repubbies who realize that they need to work across the aisle again. It won't happen soon, but it could happen. It may take a crisis.

I don't think that Bernie understands that President Obama has a high approval rating. He underestimates him, after all this time. I don't think Bernie understands just how momentous his election was, not just for POC, but for all Americans. It did wonders for our standing in the rest of the world as well.

And the scoffers here, those trying to resurrect old scandals, do not understand that Bill Clinton still has rock star popularity himself. He is superb on the campaign trail.
