In reply to the discussion: STOCK MARKET WATCH - Friday, 6 January 2012 [View all]My high school American History teacher, Miss Doris L. Black, among her other eccentricities collected the political cartoons from the front page of the Chicago Tribune. Her teaching career ranged from the late 1920s or early 1930s to her retirement in 1967. She had kept every one of those cartoons carefully filed and indexed for all those years and would bring in relevant ones when her classes reached the appropriate stage in the year's studies.
I have no idea what her politics were, nor do I know if she had others besides the Trib.
It's weird what one remembers. . . .
