I am so happy for Val and the horse (I must find out his name), and I'm thankful for dear Jill and others like her who help animals.

My sister takes in unwanted animals too (the local veterinarian tells her about them), and she has four donkeys, a lame horse, an orphaned wild pig and some poor old worn-out sheep with skin problems that she medicates them for - oh, and a few feral cats that she took in.

I think the picture of Valentine and the horse is really beautiful.
